Alacrity PC for windows 7

Recommended Posts

Hi there, I have downloaded alacrity PC but I don't see a profile for windows 7, and when I use the vista profile a message telling alacrity stopped working appears, I can't get alacrity to stop programs and launch FSX, any help?

You're probably best to start off with a new profile from scratch and then set it up the way you want to.

I think his question, more specifically, is 'how do I do that'?

Here's some documentation for it, if it will help. The Vista profile works just fine on most pc's, but I have found one pc at least, where Alacrity just quite after starting it. No idea why. I use this all the time - one starting TrackIR, and another which just cleans up the pc and then starts a CMD.exe profile.

No,  I did not get everything right, and I closed some things that I needed....but...AlacrityPC works...killing programs and services live, then restoring them...

Why did I come back to almost 10 year old technology?....cause nothing that I know of does what AlacrityPC and Ken Salter's previous memory clearing tool for FS does.

I tried flying the following

 Prepar3d v2.4

PMDG  T7

TrackIR

OpusfsI

Aivlasofts EFB,

and my system was brought to its knees....appearing to depend on Virtual Memory...utter Sh**t...and then...I :

Cleared the memory with AlacrityPC, and all of a sudden, my 2600K 8GB comes back to life....this bears RE-Looking at folks.

It's a curse for waking the dead. This thread is almost 2 years old. :diablo:
