Austin, I hope you will read this, as I wished to post this to AVSIM for other member readership.

I am having such a blast, such entertainment and discovery with your XPX (franchise), that I decided to come here and give you a blanket statement.

 

Microsoft abandoned their franchise and cut us to the wind.  You.... to date, have not.

 

 

Your franchise and product is maturing, growing, and there is live, and current support for your flight simulator.  This is good work. This is providing tremendous personal  entertainment, learning, discovery, and general satisfaction.  I am most confident that you and the rest, backing X Plane (X) will improve what is already coded, will innovate that which has not been, and as a result, I am here to tell you....

 

....that as long as I see you morphing, expanding, bettering of....XPlane v10.x, and versions to follow, I will invest my hard-earned money to support your effort(s).  I will support you in this, my passion and hobby, as long as you clearly show, you and your Franchise is supporting me by keeping the product real-time 'live' and current.  I am angry and disenchanted with what Microsoft Corporation has done, to show themselves to be so flippant, and has even more, convinced me that I as a flight simulation hobbyist, must, and should show my 'where-the-rubber-meets-the-road' financial support to any that maintain an active and producing presence. Laminar Research is...and again, you shall receive my support and patronage because of it.  I will also support any 3rd Party Developer that decides to  invest R & D, and financial assets to expand your franchise.  I can't speak for anybody else who frequents AVISM and other flight-sim sites....but for myself...."I'm in......and glad to be".  May you have much success with your franchise, and may it turn out to be an eclipse of even the once power player,  Microsoft  Corp.  I wish you and your crew, a fair sky, and look forward to the months and years ahead!
