Stock 172, pushed about every button I could push (G1000)

Recommended Posts

And I can't get the display to turn on?

I've never bought/flown a glass cockpit, so thought I would just try the stock 172 and see how that went,  but I cannot turn on the display.

FWIW,  using Bowerman,  and the engine is running when I start.

Anyone help?

I'm not sure what the problem might be, but I can tell you that the displays should be on when you start the sim from the free flight screen.

Did you ever remove some gauges from the FSX Gauges folder?

Also try the FSX Baron with G1000, just in case..

And I can't get the display to turn on?

I looked on mine... it was "ON" when I started up.

As the Joe mentioned, there is an Avionics Master on a sub-panel.

As Bert suggested, did the Baron G1000 load with the displays on?

Tracy - When you start the sim and the engine is running (but no displays), just press CTRL+E and this should get your displays on..... if it doesn't, you have an install / configuration problem (such as missing gauges as suggested above).
