I would imagine that the aircraft would undergo a thorough maintenance check ...

 

I must admit to being comforted with these pics...just imagine the wing loading during that episode.

I always think back to the 'wing bending' tests they performed on the 777 when it was being certificated - very impressive..

 

I only hope that they are using high tensile bolts to attach those wings ! :unsure:
