June 10, 201312 yr I've had to reinstall MS Flight on a fresh system. When I try to redownload my content I just get an error message, both in game and if I click the Games For Windows Live Marketplace icon. I've attached an image of the error message (from the Games for Windows Live Marketplace). It starts with "Connection error Can't start the program. There may be a problem with your Internet connection or the LIVE service." I've spent hours searching the web for a solution without success. I have no internet connection problems and can access Marketplace from Xbox 360. The previously working system was Windows 8 upgraded from Windows 7. Does anyone know how to get this working? System: Windows 8 Pro
June 10, 201312 yr This has been a common issue for the past 3 days. There are many threads in the GFWL Support forums about this particular issue. http://forums.xbox.com/gfw/technical_support/default.aspx They are finally aware of the issue and some users have been told they are working on the problem.
June 11, 201312 yr Author Thanks neonapple. Marketplace has suddenly started working again after 3 days. Looks like it was server side and just coincidence with my reinstall. Now to figure out how to restore my game progress... Aerocaches show up as done, challenges are locked as if I never completed them.
