First class in a 757 is VERY comfortable.

I don't know, 757's are as comfortable as any other jet of its size... So I don't think that's to blame. It's a shame, it's an amazing plane.Cheers,Daniel Pimentel

"what plane do you find comfortable?"Try taking a flight on JetBlue! Those A320's are AWESOME! Especially Directv in every seat as well as all the planes stats such as airspeed & altitude! Can't beat the price either and direct routes.

Just because they stop making it won't mean you have to stop flying it.I'll still be flying the BAe 146 for years to come.

Maybe Boeing should stop producing that annoying 737 line. The 757 is a far more graceful looking aircraft.Chris Low,ENGLAND.

I agree with you. They should shrink the 757 to replace the 73G and have the 717 replace the 736:-sae

The 757...Probably the best looking but lanky airplane out there. Looked like the tall skinny brother of a 737.I can see how it's popularity with the airlines has dwindled... as multiple people have said, a newer 737 can fly just as far with just as much "comfort" as a 757, but be more fuel efficient about it.In 10-20 years, we'll get to lament their passing just as we recently have seen multiple carriers say goodbye to their 727's. Until then, we can keep flying the cramped skies! :) -Greg

Airbuses have more room - you get a wider seat. Makes a difference on a jammed flight, especially when the airline gives you no leg room. I like the triple seven as well.Colin

Realistically, any aircraft can have plenty of room. Airlines choose the seat configutation/pitch, etc.

What routes can the 747 run that the 777 can't based on FAA regs? Thanks,Robb

1 January 1983....Eastern Airlines began 757 service on that dateover 20 years and 1000+ airframes later...yeah, that's a real successful production run!!They'll be flying for at least another 20 years. Who can imagine what will be rolling off the Boeing and Airbus lines then?? (fun to contemplate!)Dave
