CPU options for a EVGA E758 (x58) MOBO...?

Got the MOBO and CPU 4 years ago.  Would like to boost the CPU but am unsure what newer CPUs I can run in this MOBO.

 

Current CPU a i7920 Bloomfield 2.6 o/c to 3.8.

 

The MOBO is the 1366 socket.

You would only be able to use a 920, 930, 950, 960, etc. (four core i7 9XX)

 

You maybe able to use an extreme like a 980X (six core), but it depends on the BIOS loaded in the board.  You would need to contact EVGA to find out.  You also maybe able to flash a new BIOS if the board does not have the correct BIOS, if EVGA put out a new one after the board was built.
