CRUISE SPEED

IAS=215

TAS=317

OAT=-37

 

Seems about right.

how is he achieving that speed at only 101% TRQ?

 

A bit of help with almost tail winds...I don't how was the weight, but the TBM can easily cruise that fast with the "850" flaps position, that's what make the TRQ increase to 121.4% and as you climb, it will reduce, but that's correct...is a very very fast little aircraft!!!!!!

The winds have nothing to do with his cruise speed there. He is showing us his TAS not GS only the ground speed would be effected by the wind

ISA OAT helps a bit....... It would be better colder but at least its not ISA+20
