X-Plane10's weather - landing the A380 in gusting / shifting winds!...

Featured Replies

I'm sorry I can't post a movie link, but I haven't yet get my X-Plane10 64 bit going with some sort of Fraps-like software, otherwise I would gladly attach a link to the reason for my exclamations when, just a few minutes ago, I completed a circuit on the A380, from LPPT 03 / returning, under the winds that are now reported in LPPT's METAR and I was able to observe from my office :-) at the portuguese metoffice (aeronautical meteorology center for Lisbon AIrport).

Well, it's sooooo different, so much more realistic / challenging that, I really can't wait for those 3pd weather generators to start becoming available and bringing even more challenges to X-Plane10's weather.

If you are talking about what I experienced during my A320 gusty landings, I know what you mean. Excellent!
