June 14, 201312 yr I use the ATC as is, and it is getting me by, but to have a Microsoft FS9/FSX version would be a total coup as far as I'm concerned. True A.I. within the ATC capsule. Would crank up the immersion factor to steaming..... You add that to what already fantastic features, XPX holds...and present non-XPX users would flock to the arena. I find that I am getting use to not having the Microsoft A.I. traffic within XPX, and found that it is more than compensated by what XPX has, that neither Microsoft product does...but in my P.O., if Austin and Crew could give us the same execution as M.S. does for A.T.C.... For myself, it would be the XPX-Grand Slam. Mitch
June 14, 201312 yr Actually, in some aspects default ATC in X-Plane10 can be better than in FSX, specially when in FSX I got the controllers at each single airport in my route to start contacting me when bellow 18000'.... Of course things could get better if special programs were used, but they were expensive! In XPX I believe we will get an ATC robot in the future. There will certainly be market for it, so 3pds interested in dedicating to this platform of the future will probably start working on such add-ons... Flying online is allways the best option, although not a viable one for me :-/ Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

They have cargo, and are swinging about, doing their thing. Users really have to get out of their flying 'comfort-zone' and see what else XPX has hiding away in regions other than their own, LOL! Having a blast......
June 15, 201312 yr Yeah this is one area that really needs work. I'm thinking of turning AI off completely. Getting a bit fed up of B52s spawning directly on top of me on small rural strips in Swiss valleys... i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea

June 15, 201312 yr Author Agreed. I turned mine off after a week...and don't really miss it. If I had the output of FS9/FSX, then I probably would.
