airbus x extended doors

Recommended Posts

Hi, I am using MCE with Aerosoft Airbus D and GSX. I am having a problem and I don't know if its my fault or if there are missing commands. I fly the A321IAE variant, the issue I have is that I have no command to open the aft  passenger door which means I get GSX constantly harassing me until I operate it manually, I have similar problem with what GSX refers to as door 3 which is one of the cargo doors.

The passenger door is an issue whenever there is no Jetway, the cargo door is always a pain as GSX always wants access.

Is it me or is it MCE?

What MCE version are you running?

What "mcasoftA3X.dll" version do you have inide \Flight Simulator X\MCE dlls\ folder?

I am assuming you're running Aerosoft Airbus X Extended, patched to version 1.1

Thanks

MCE version is 2.5.3.9

Aerosoft Airbus X version is 1.10

mcasofta3X.dll is version 1.0.2.0

FSX is running outside the Program folder on a separate drive and the OS is Windows 7 64bit.

Hope this helps answer the question, one thing I did notice when I installed was that I had to manually import the VOX scripts for the A321 so that I could use the flows - they didn't automatically appear when it detected the aircraft. Is this possibly an indication that other features haven't been detected?

I have been checking today, and it appears to be only the Aft Left door that I cannot control

cargo and service doors seem ok

Thanks for the update.

Since version 2.5.3.8, should users prefer to keep Windows UAC enabled, you have to make sure fsx.exe is set to run as admin, or a few strange things might happen.

MCE interfacing with GSX doesn't involve operating the left aft door, nor does GSX monitor it. You have to control it via the AXE FMC-CDU.

Yes; the right [co-pilot] MCDU must be used which allows operation for EVERY door [not emergency exit windows!] as well as the cargo hold.
