Any new turboprops on the horizon?

Recommended Posts

I have really enjoyed the Majestic Dash 8-400 and RealAir Duke Turbo, and it got me thinking about how nice it would be to have other turboprops. How about:

Saab 340B

Convair 580

Fokker 50

others?

Some of these have been done for FS9, but leave much to be desired in FSX. The Flight 1 ATR does work in FSX, but could use some updates.

Are any of these in development?

Milviz is working on an Avanti II, King Air 350 and MU 2.  Also a turbo rotor...Bell 207.

Carenado just advised (via FB) that they are doing a Grand Caravan EX.

I would also expect Flight1's G1000 king air 200 to be coming shortly.

Small correction... Milviz Bell 407.

Carenado is also working on a Beechcraft 1900 (I think the D variant, although the C variant could be included as well).

Is any developer working on a Dornier 328, 228 or Saab 2000? Those are some of my favourite modern turboprop airliners and to my mind they've been overlooked.

Virtualcol has recently released the Do 328. Nothing to compare with the Majestic and still full of bugs. Anyway being very cheap and since it is my favorite turboprop I got it and still use it sometimes for some short hops...

I'd never even heard of Virtuacol until you posted, so I checked it out quickly. It's nice to see Dornier getting some attention but it's not up to the standard I'd require, even considering it's under €11; I knew it would be short on systems but the modelling and textures are slapdash too.

Do you have a link? I would love to hear more about this. Especially since Carenado is a prepar3d supporter.
