I still love it...other than a couple of NGX flights, I haven't flown anything else.

It's excellent. There are still a few challenges such as GSX doesn't allow you to start the engines until push is completed (no biggie, a few airports don't either) and there are still for me a handful of issues around nailing down EZdok's DHM/CR/RND which seem to be all or nothing in their effect. Maybe it's just me. The fuel and load manager is a bit of a pain when you've come from the NGX's beautifully simple integrated FMC interface, meaning you have to tab out to the desktop, fire up the control panel, select each cabin zone, select baggage, select fuel, select trip fuel, set the load, send it to FSX.....blah blah. Oh yes and the default key for the doors is a real FS2002 flashback - Shift + E + 1, 2 or 3! That needs to be looked at. But - everything else is marvellous. The sounds, the flight model, the texturing, the VC, the systems depth is first rate - PMDG standard, no question. It's challenging to fly certainly - with no auto throttle and what can be described as a rather primitive autopilot - you need to keep ahead of the aircraft. In the descent and landing phase particularly the workload is high, but it's a very satisfying aircraft to fly and the amazing frame rates mean you venture to many places that you'd enter with trepidation in something like the NGX. Definitely worth the money.

Best aircraft so far for me. I have been to so many different airports. I have flown nothing else since. Though I am sure the NGX, which is great also, is still waiting in the hanger for me. I highly recommend it.

Yeah, I think this is the best plane available for FSX at this time as well. It's so damn good, everything is basically awesome. Great graphics, great systems and great performance ... how did they manage to pull that off?

My time is split as below:

60% - NGX

30% - Dash 8

10% - AXE

Considering NGX flights took 90% of my time prior to the D8 coming out says alot for this aircraft.

She's a beaut primarily being used on short hops throughout ORBX EU Wales/England, Aerosoft Greek Island collection and Caribbean.

Oh yeah - Can't forget my Chubu Centrair to Fukushima hop. Thanks to PIS and Wing Creation respectively.

I guess I still have the small guy mentality. Learning to fly our 172, I always cut my eye at my CFI when I "planted" Her on the ground. One time I was asked if She said something to me I didn't like before takeoff. Lol.

Thanks for all the input so far folks, it's really appreciated. How about A2a's Accu-Feel? Does that play nicely with the Dash? Any issues there?

Now for my decisions... Looking at the Dash, the Coolsky DC-9, and perhaps the JustFlight Tristar.

No problems with Accu-Feel, but the flight model outside of FSX thing renders it impervious to turbulence. Turbulence is generated by FSX and as such the Dash doesn't know it's in turbulence, thus this is reflected by Accu-Feel. I think. It all gets rather confusing.

Honestly, you should consider striking the JF TriStar off that list;  it's effectively a default aircraft level rendition of the TriStar......... it's not in the same league as the MJC Dash 8 or the Coolsky DC-9.

There's a trial version of the Tri-star on the justflight website. limit of 2000 ft,

but enough to know if you like it or not.

And neither is it mean to be...

the dash is a great add-on.  My only gripe is pilot defined waypoint page is missing from the FMC. Can't wait for the pro version to come out

Regarding taxiing on this bird., the nose wheel   steering works very well.

First flight put behind.

I´m quite puzzled. I expected interesting FDE, but it was plain horrible. Any plane flying like that would have been banned by aviation authorities long since.

I have flown small planes in real world and A320 and MD-80 in official airline simulator and all have one thing in common; they basically fly by themselves if you let go. This was like a Wright Flyer to be polite.

So, I guess I don´t understand what this is all about.
