PMDG 747-400 Manuals Help

Hello,

 

I have the PMDG 737 and along with the install came a few PDF documents, with thousands of pages worth of manuals etc

 

I also have the PMDG 747-400 but they don't have manuals apart from the brief 400 page quick-guide type manual.

 

Any idea why the 747 by PMDG doesn't include the complete set of manuals?

 

What I'm looking for is:

 

• PMDG 747-400 Flight Crew Operating Manual Volume 1
• PMDG 747-400 Flight Crew Operating Manual Volume 2
• PMDG 747-400 Flight Crew Training Manual
• PMDG 747-400 Quick Reference Handbook

This was not provided with the 747.  The manuals were written by PMDG themselves.  The QRH is in there, though.

 

These are found in All Programs > PMDG Simulations > [Folder with reference to the 744 - couldn't tell you the exact name without being at my comp]

It's a shame that it wasn't. I wonder why PMDG never bothered with the 747.

 

I got the PDF files they provide with the software but it just isn't the same :(

Remember that the original 744 was developed quite some time ago.  They might not have had a good relationship at that point to get the originals like they did with the NGX.

 

It's something to expect in the future V2, I'd imagine.
