Anyone ever tried Virtual Dispatch [Flight Plans]

Recommended Posts

I went on there and I barely understand a thing in there, most of it is unfamiliar to me. Does anyone use this or has anyone used this? What are your thoughts?

A wealth of information can be inputted and then you can create printable maps, Operational Flight Plans, METAR data, Airport/ILS information, I'm not quite sure about it's accuracy in that respect though. If you can't find a flight plan, just enter the departure and arrival airports, and it will link you to routefinder, simroutes, or flightaware to find a route. It connects with FSUIPC, FSX, and ACARS for your VA if you set it up that way.

You can also export the flight plans to PMDG, LEVELD, FSX default, and others too.

It's all free as well!

EDIT: Felt like adding a link, there are screenshots available there.

One thing I've noticed in testing it is that it using MARCH-APRIL 2010 Airac cycles.

Looks good for being free.  I really like their map showing all the FSX/P3D Sceneries available.  One could spend hours going through that.

I use it, and I love it. It allows me to find the routes via Vataware/Flightaware (for US/NZ flights)/Route Finder/a friend, enter them to VD and then exporting them to FS9 or any other formats. However, by some strange reason, airport elevations are not included in the FS9 flightplan (not sure about FSX), but this only affects me if flying Wilco Airbus.
