fs9 cfg question

Recommended Posts

I just d/l the fs9 configurator program and noticed that I have two different entries for my display device. One says display.device.radeon 9800 pro.0 and the other says Display.device.radeon 9800 pro (omega 2.4.96).0Do I need both of these entries in the cfg file?

One is for the official ATI Catalyst driver and the other for the Omega driver. Only one is used (the one corresponding to the current driver installed) and it doesn't hurt to delete the entry not used, although it shouldn't hurt to leave it in either. Also if you delete BOTH entries then FS will just rebuild the entry corresponding to your current driver the next time you run FS.
