Thanks for your responses and advice, I really appreciate it. After playing around and taxiing (it is 2 i's) for sometime I finally decided to deactivate the product and go back to the default airport. I prefer to spend my time flying my PMDG 747 and Quality Wings 757. Will probably get another product that supports the PT.

I always use the yellow progressive taxi lines, but then they are visible at all of my UK airports. Well, I say all....but there are actually sections of one or two airports where they are not visible. The reason for this is because the developer uses "platforms" for certain areas of the airport, and this means that the yellow taxi lines are below the visible airport ground level at those points.

If you don't mind me asking are you using an Add-on if so what is it; or are you using the default airport?

Actually, a free instance of GSX comes with that Airport, for use with that one only. you can call the Follow Me Car ;-)

Sorry for misleading you, Forshaw. I do not fly anywhere outside the UK and Ireland, so I do not use New York JFK airport (either default or payware addon).

Hi Christopher, not to worry you didn't mislead. I was just curious if you use any type of add-on regardless of the airport. I actually fly EGLL - KJFK - EGLL quite a lot since I fly the PMDG 747

I've always used it, but now feel like an amateur! I'm going to try it without, after all I go to all that trouble of creating so much realism...

How do you get the follow me car to work? I tired Ctrl + F12 and I only go 5 or 6 options all related to Jef Blue or American gates and door opening. Nothing about followintg a car.I have actually exited the runway and already cleared to proceed to the assigned gate. When I click on Add On and GSX it says "Product in Trial Mode which i assume is correct. i never downloaded it from the web site it was part of the Airport install.

 

Should i download the entire free version from the site in orde for it to work?
