It still has nothing to do with the original question which was not dealing with atomic/sub-atomic or galactic phenomena. My comment was merely directed at your use of the word 'only' in your comment about quantum mechanics. I have no opinion on the op's question or whether or not quantum theory has anything to do with it. I only know that back when the US Navy used dirigible airships as aircraft carriers, the aircraft were reattached to the mothership by hooks dangling in the slipstream and reeled up and into the ship.
