Wonderful, maybe someone can make an updated version using today's tech

 

Interesting to see how the wheel resists spinning for some time until the friction gets a grab of it

Its these things that make Slow Motion so wonderful

I often have way too much time on my hands.  During one of these "lulls", I came up with the idea of finding a way to spin the tires to landing speed prior to touchdown.  You could probably quadruple the number of landings before replacement is needed.  I hereby copyright and patent the idea.

Shouldn't you be in a dark quiet room isolated from the world rapidly packaging our airplane for us instead of watching ULTRA SLO MOTION videos of wheels? :-D haha

 

To answer your question it's a 777 landing gear that really knows how to get down
