Freezes

My visuals freeze every 30-45 seconds for about 5 seconds. I have a pretty late cpu (I7)  and a good video card (can't remember the number), but all other sims work fine. Is this a common complaint?

A bit more info wouldn't go a miss.  Weather programmes can make freezes happen, so to can anti virus software?

you havnt  got  fsuipc on auto save  have  you?

The FSUIPC auto save seems to be the culprit alright. Although it has never caused any of my other aircraft scenarios to freeze up. Would changing any of the display parameters help?
