Taxiway, runway and building double textures / Skysunjet KPHL FSX

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

Well, I'll be the first to admit I've been lazy for a long time to figure out what the following issue for me is...

I have KPHL by Skysunjet for FSX installed. Great scenery.......Problem is that I have two sets of bridge ways and also two sets of taxi lines and runway textures showing through. I am assuming there is a conflicting AFCAD somewhere causing this?? If this is this correct assumption, I forget which program out there can resolve the issue for me, as it's been SO long? Any suggestions? I don't have any FSX crashes of any sort, but would think the performance would be better, and not only that...look a heck of a lot better too! I did not see anything mentioned over in the skysunjet forums on this. Thanks in advance for any help.

Best, Jeff

Hi Jeff,

There is a program called FSX Airport Scanner (freeware) - http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13263.  Not sure if this link has the latest version but it is a start.  I know you have to be careful with some AI programs that provide AFCADS for their software to the AI aircraft can takeoff and land properly.  If you have an AI program sitting above KPHL in your scenery library, you might move it down below KPHL.

Hope this helps.  Hope all is well with you.  Enjoyed meeting you at the AVSIM meet in Wichita!

Best regards,

Jim

Do you have EZ Object Library installed? Seems it contained bridges in that area and they still showed after installation of SunSkyJet's KPHL on my system. I either deselected EZ Object in my scenery library or moved it to below the KPHL scenery and that fixed it for me.

Thanks Jim and FP.

Jim...I'll look into the program. I have mytraffic pro installed and it may very well be above KPHL. Also, It was a pleasure likewise meeting you as well. Hope we can all get together again.

FP.. I don' think I have the EZ Object library installed but will look anyway as I loose track anymore.

Thanks guys. :-)

Also check to see if you have any other Philly area scenery installed.
