Haven't Flown in over 3 weeks :(

I love summer way too much to stay inside too long each day simming..... and with work there's never much time left in the day....

 

I have been buying them and not downloading all of them. The price is so good and you can download them any time later on down the road.
 

I have almost ran out of broadband for the month so I have a few titles in the queue that I bought for the next few months.

I once tried an old MS Train sim

Microsoft announced in 2003 that they would make a Train Simulator 2, however, in 2004 they halted the project because "[they] remain focused on the simulations category with successful, platform-driven franchises such as "Microsoft Flight Simulator". Interestingly, in 2007, they announced they would relaunch the MTS 2 project. It was going to be made by ACES (which made FSX, as we all know), and it would feature new graphics, Windows Vista compatibility, etc. But then, unfortunately, MS made the worst gaming business decision in 2009 to close ACES, so eventually the project was cancelled again.

I'm on an enforced break in Austria, so I haven't flown in over a week and I won't be back at my desk until early August. It's actually nice to be away from my desk. Once I get back its all go and gearing up for the fs weekend in November. :-)

I haven't flown in exactly 30 days now. I really need to because i have about 7 days left to log a first flight with BAV before i'm binned for inactivity.

with Summer here and an awesome Steam Sale going on, I haven't flown XP10 or my other sim P3D :ph34r:  in almost a month.  I have been busy with family, friends and some other amazing Sim/Games like the awesome: Train Simulator 2013, Euro Truck 2 1.41 update, Rise of Flight, OMSI Bus Sim, Aerosoft's Bus and Subway Sims, Farm Sims, Civilization 5, X3 Series, etc. etc. :lol:

anyone else on a Civilian Flight Sim vacation/depression/burnout?

I'm just trying to keep up with all the forums.    Though I keep telling myself I should start a flight and then check the messages.  Though, some of the startup procedures can be quite high on the learning curve and take quite a bit of time.

 

I used to do VATSIM controlling for countless hours, after punching the keyboard all day, I'm happy to not do that for a while.

Winter here but we have been getting great weather....Haven't been flying because of the Steam Sale as well....Been playing Farm Sim 2013, Euro Truck Sim2, Train Sim 2013, Skyrim, Cities in Motion 2, Tropico4...

try also Agricultural Simulator 2012 or 2013.  It's more fun and realistic with dynamic ground.  Vehicules break down, HDR Lighting, vehicules get dirty, realistic looking maps and buildings, etc. etc. and it's only $9 on Simmarket for 2012 version.

I'll give that one a go next. I will admit vehicle maintenance is the one thing required in any Farm operation.

you can also upgrade buildings and upgrade driving permits for workers.  It's more sim than arcade like FS 2013.  Both are fun but Agrar 2012 or 2013 is more Farm "SIM".  I have over 200 hours on FS2013 since it launched but I haven't touched it since buying AGRAR 2012 and 2013.  Try it soon :drinks:
