Great to hear! Currently I'm using old FS9 era models with Ultimate Traffic 2, when I have time I will definitely start updating my AI fleet with these modern models.

You answered your own question about what they are. Google FAIB and you can find their site.

Cool, but exactly how does this work? Will it work with UT2?

Thanks for the heads up!  I like tweaking my AI when I'm not flying, so this will be a neat little project to replace the DJC's with FAIB.   It's so amazing how far AI modeling has come, from the Project AI era to today.   Such models from FAIB and UTT pretty much look like payware aircraft at this point!

It will be a monumental task to replace the DJC fleet, I think I'm going to approach this like when FAIB released their 737 classics/NG last year, by just updating the models I see when I fly in the U.S., and maybe some European carriers.   Also, as super realistic looking as the FAIB 737 and Airbus look, they don't look so much better than the models they replace (Aardvark and DJC respectively)   IMO, the predecessors look just fine the way they are.   But if these new models can look much nicer AND use less resources, which I'm pretty sure they do since they are FSX native and have had their models optimized as much as possible, it's a WIN WIN!

For a while, we were just seeing new AI models for older models that desperately needed replacements, like the DC-10 and MD-11, it's great to see not only a slew of new modelers (UTT and FAIB) but also that they are brave enough to tackle the workhorses of the AI world, such as these narrowbodies, that some may argue do not need replacing.   I don't believe we have seen any new releases in years from the standard bearers of the AI world, like The Fruit Stand, Aardvark, and Alpha India, so we needed new blood.   I get a kick out of seeing all these new releases, and for FSX too!   It seemed that AI was a FS9 only obsession not too long ago.

They work with any traffic program. Add the model and livery to your AI simobjects folder. And then change what model and livery the airline uses.

FAIB FSX models are FSX Native ones, made specifically for FSX which should make them cause less performance reduction than old FS9 models I believe.

Could someone please show me step by step how to add these FAIB models to Ultimate Traffic 2. Thanks!
