Looking for photo scenery for Hawaii's Big Island

Recommended Posts

I used jdownloader and it has a built-in unarchiver.

I see there's also Ironscenery Kauai as well. The only downside to this scenery are the clouds that are part of the textures. But if it wasn't for that, I can say that it's better than Newport Scenery! Wow.

That was last year though, I hope they're still going to do it.

It was only two months ago, last I checked.

For the record, there WILL be a MegaSceneryEarth 2.0 Hawaii coming out "soon". I don't have all the details but will try and find out from the project manager if all of the islands will be covered in this version.

Wow, are you serious? Please I hope the entire region will be covered, especially the big island! This is definitely great news.

Confirming that MegaSceneryEarth 2.0 Hawaii when released will include all islands in the chain. It will be standard as per v2.0 inclusions. No autogen or night lights at this stage (will use default night lights), but should be full 50cm/pixel resolution.

Aaron,

Not sure yet. We have to get California out the door first. It will be at least several weeks after California.

And for the record, California will be separated into North and South for that release, due to the large size of the state (as we did with Texas).
