I think the aircraft only take seven months to complete. The other 23 or so months the developers just like dragging out the teasing process. Before every one of Cameron's posts, he probably starts off by telling Theo, "Hey watch this!" as they both snicker and chuckle at the three square inches of 3D cockpit that is about to be shown to the public, anxiously awaiting all the cries for more and a release date.
