Business/Management sharing between FlightSim Store & ORBX?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering is there any ownership or management between FlightSim Store and Orbx? I know they have some kind of relationship in terms or sharing product (as I believe a lot of other simulator stores do) but is there any management/owners between the two? Does anyone know of simulator stores that are owned by developers (other than those developers who are selling on their web sites)?

ORBX and FlightSimStore are two different companies located in two different cities in Australia. Most likely the reason for this business relationship is they are both Australian Companies so makes since to support your local software supplier from a developer POV.

They do various trade shows at airshows and other events together.

Thanks I thought that might be the case since they are both in Australia. Any more "big" quakes or tremors recenty in NZ?

Latest one was a 4.5 around 6:30 am this morning but we are mostly all cleaned up from that last big one. Drywaller was in last night and should be finished replacing damaged walls this weekend.

A couple of the buildings in the city are still red flagged and one across from us will be taken down. Other then that we have been enjoying great weather this winter, sunshine everyday.

Aerosoft has some inhouse development, but most of their development is contracted outside.

Wilco used to tie with Feelthere, but this tie got loose. Now Feelthere runs a big store, too, and Wilco does some inhouse development beside publishing and retailing.

The flightsim world is ... tiny, when compared to other industries. Expect heaps of connections between those involved in our hobby.
