August 3, 201312 yr Author That gives me an idea! How many of you live within driving distance of Charlottesville, VA? If enough were interested, we could sponsor a T7 Release Party the Saturday after the actual release date. It would be a BYOB event (buy your own burger), but at a nice little place not too far from KCHO. Congrats, Tom, on that rise in page impressions and, correspondingly, in prices for advertising space. That hamburger definitely is on you ... (Am I biased in favour of the man who will release "my" T7? Nooooo!!!) Our ad rates are so low that I can't afford to buy the burger. Randazzo on the other hand... Besides that, I bought the last dinner we had together (Wichita) and all I got for it was abuse!
August 3, 201312 yr Keep on abusing, Robert!!! Edited August 3, 201312 yr by olli4740 What happened to AVSIM
August 3, 201312 yr I knew I had seen the abbreviation RSR before... Quote from 911 magazine: "- ...RSR delivers unparallelled performance and stunning looks" LOL!!!! :LMAO: :LMAO:  i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
August 4, 201312 yr Oh poor Tom and the abuse you get... After meeting you and Robert in Wichita, I'll be happy to buy the burgers for you both and to top it off, for the first 15 people who sign up to join us...that's if I can make it with my nutty schedule of course. In any event, it's the thought that counts. :-) Best, Jeff

(Just been to the states visiting family and friends just outside of Detroit), but would not mind going again! Hehe. 737 CL/NG skysurfer
August 5, 201312 yr So, Rob's current on the Saab 340!!! That's great!!! A question for Rob... : How are torque effects translated into "turning tendencies" on "your" Saab's Robert? Yaw (left) ? Roll (left) ? Both? I guess you do not even use the aileron trim for takeoff / climb (?) I'm asking, because being a Saab driver ( I didn't know you were ) could well entitle you to give a credited opinion to the X-Plane 10 dev team regarding torque effects, before PMDG releases their first X-Plane add-on ;-) Sorry for corrupting the OP, but I really didn't know he was a Saab driver..... Now, regarding the release of the T7, I can well remember going on holidays in 2005 when the Queen of the Skies was released, somewhere in the beginning of August. I was already at the beach, with limited internet access, but ordered it from there, even being unable to install :-( Those holidays were probably the ones I profited the least from, desperately waiting for it to end and return home :-) Something tells me you're doing it again! Only now, I'll be at work :-) this is a running joke between Tom and Robert - explained at the conference this year Robert was a captain for a regional flying the Jetstar that PMDG made - but Tom insists the worst flight ever in a regional came in a SAAB at Robert's hands... No, I insist!!! I will freeze dry the burger and send it to you via UPS. You will have to provide the fries, mayo and garnish! Anything to avoid THAT fuel bill. Heck, I don't think I could even afford the cost of the dripping oil, let alone the clean up fee from the FBO at KCHO. Those guys would never forgive me. The freeze dried burger would be infinitely cheaper!!! :LMAO: I want to see pictures of the DC3....
