TextureAGP=1- Should I Have This Line in My FS9.CFG File?

Featured Replies

I've seen this line listed on other posters FS9.CFG details. I can't seem to find it on mine. Syhould it be there? It's shows as enabled with dxdiag.

No, you don't need this line. Unless you want to turn off AGP then you insert: TextureAGP=0. Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2

The line isnt in the fs9.cfg by default. You can put it in there to "force" FS2004 to NOT use AGP texture acceleration by using TextureAGP=0 (not 1). This way you dont have to disable it in the dxdiag for all games.I havent really noticed any major difference in having it on or off really.Where to put it? Well I had mine somewhere below the line that has the name of the graphicscard/driverLike this in mine:(DISPLAY.Device.RADEON 9800 PRO (DNA 3.2.4.10).0)Mode=1280x1024x32PanelAsTexture=0TextureAGP=0
