Parking brake will not disengage

I just started having a problem with my NGX.  The parking brake will not disengage.  I don't have this problem with any other aircraft.  I have un-installed the NGX and re-installed it, but it is still not working.  What the heck do I need to do?

Remove chocks. Search introduction manual if you don't know how to do that.

Yup sounds like you have left the chocks on - you can remove them from the FMC

Heh, I had them removed using the Video Marshaller...and it worked...lol

For future reference, uninstall/install should always be the LAST resort. You can potentially cause much more major problems if you do it incorrectly or forget to do something. It can cause much bigger headaches then what you're originally trying to fix.

 

But I'm glad that you figured out what you were missing with the chocks. Guilty of doing that myself once or twice.
