Black monitor, now what

Featured Replies

I could do with some advice from the wealth of knowledge on this forum.

So I woke up this morning, turned on my PC with GTX670 that is connected to 3 LG 22inch 1680x1050 monitors, only to find that one is powered but completely black. 1st thought was that the Display Port to VGA convertor was damaged so I tried in different socket, then I tried a different cable then a different computer but to no avail. So here's my quandary, could it just be the backlight that has failed and if so does anybody know anywhere in the UK that sells them, do I just go out and buy another 2nd hand £50 monitor to replace it or do I scrap the whole triple monitor idea and go for a single 27 inch monitor?
