The shimmering is driving me mad!!!!

All you need is super sampling with ATI and the card would be 99% perfect. Games run well on ATI but the shimmmer is obvious you will need a better cpu since it taxes the system or hope the guys at microsoft make a change in the graphic engine and problem solved again the cpu will need an upgrade to run supersampling which most other games dont need. AA is usually enough!

The 7800 does look like it will eliminate it with it's full supersampling AA modes - they should be usable in FS without much of a performance hit. I'm gonna get one of the cards at the end of this month hopefully - I will let everyone know if it works.
