August 11, 201312 yr www.joinava.org the only restriction we have is that you are a CAT5 pilot with the VA, that is 400hrs logged on the VATSIM network under the American or OneWorld parters callsigns. other than that, we allow you to fly it from anywhere to anywhere once you are rated at the cat5 level Jason Chambers

August 11, 201312 yr I am a member of both BAV and FTG. BAV is a class act and obviously has all of the current 777 routes in their schedule. Only downside is the current wait to get in and I think there may be a restriction on hours before you can fly the 777. FTG - Gives you access to almost every airline that currently flies the 777. No hours restriction on using the 777 and no wait time to get in. You might want to check Vatsim's list of VA's for United, Emirates, All Nippon, JAL, Singapore, Air France and American. As these are the largest customers of Boeing for the 777. Mark CYYZ

August 11, 201312 yr Well I don't know if we are allowed to discuss that here. (Sorry if we're not allowed). But go and check out FTG - Flying Tigers Group. www. I'm a part of Air New Zealand. But there are alooooot of 777 routes. :-) http://www.flyingtigersgroup.org/portal/ The good thing is about this one is you enroll in one VA, but you still allowed to fly all the other VA's that FTG has. http://www.flyingtigersgroup.org/portal/en-us/ourairlines.aspx Nice to see another FTG man! He could also check out Emirates Virtual (offical). 777s all the way I'm EK074. Nice to see you guys here! Nanjul J. Dakat

August 11, 201312 yr If your looking for a great VA I would recommend FedexVAC. Not only do we have a large amount of 777 routes, we also provide a family atmosphere. We utilize Teamspeak 3 and always have staff or other pilots available to help you through your career. If your interested the website is Fedexvac.org, and I hope to see you in the skies! Joseph Kerr
August 11, 201312 yr the one I would stay away from if just looking for the 777 is Deltava.org. Not bashing, them I have a good reason: Deltava is for someone who is looking for a career track. you start with regional jets then move up to 737 or A319/20 and move up from there. you take tests, do check rides and then flights to log time in seat. The plus side is once you are qualified you can fly any A/C on any route as long as it can make it for fuel and rwy length. So once qualified for the 777 you can fly it anywhere deltava flies. They also have several code share airlines as well. So while you are waiting for the T7 to be released you could get the other A/C out of the way. 100+ scheduled 777 routes (some might be return trips). Russell Homan
August 11, 201312 yr http://virtualua.org is a great one I think. Lots of active pilots there, custom website and ACARS, all UAL flights updated monthly along with many Star Alliance codeshares. The only one with the 200LR is in, which is Air Canada, but they also have ANA, Air China, Air New Zealand, Austrian Airlines, and Singapore Airlines which all operate some mix of 777s, including many 300ERs. August 11, 201312 yr Try the VA I fly for http://virtualunitedairlines.org as of now we have 550 pilots. ATP MEL,CFI,CFII,MEI. Type Ratings B-737, ERJ-190,ERJ-170
August 11, 201312 yr AVSIM has a great LINKS system, heavily populated with a wide variety of Virtual Airlines and managed by one of the greatest people you could ever have the privilege to know. http://forum.avsim.net/links/category/4-virtual-airlines-and-aviation-sites/ Give us a visit, and tell us what you think. Indeed. This is THE airline to be at. The pilot perks are unreal, and they've got so many partners along with the gigantic route network that's constantly growing. At the end of the day, nothing comes close to their family feel and pilot centered program. http://virtualua.org is the place to be! Martin Harasimowicz

You can take the NGX out from day 1 to do those hours though. Cheers Paul Hand
