August 11, 201312 yr I am looking a a good twin. Would you recommend this: http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/mitsubishi-marquise-p-29.html Btw, are there twin in XPX that has good system simulation? Thanks in advance. Vu Pham i7-13700K 5.2 GHz OC, 64 GB RAM, RTX5090, SSD for Sim, SSD for system. MSFS2020, XP-12, DCS
August 11, 201312 yr I heve the MU2 and really recommend it! It doesn't have sophisticated avionics, just like the real thing, but has all you may want for an aircraft of that type. It has an exceptional visual, and a very good FDM too! August 11, 201312 yr Author Thanks jcomm. Do you know of other twin which have good system simulation. I came from the MilViz C310 and also look for similar level of sophistication. Vu Pham i7-13700K 5.2 GHz OC, 64 GB RAM, RTX5090, SSD for Sim, SSD for system. MSFS2020, XP-12, DCS
August 11, 201312 yr Hmmm, Vu, nothing of that type offers in X-Plane10 presently the same level of sophistication of FSX / P3D add-ons :-( The GPS implementation is very poor. The RXP used to work, but only with the 32 bit XPX. In terms of sophistication, FSX / P3D are well ahead , I'm affraid. The same applies to airliners. I have the WL 777 - nothing that can even be compared to what PMDG offers for FSX... The upcoming Saab-340, by LES / X.Aviation, may change this situation! And for that type there is aleady the Jetstream 41, but I don't know how sophisticated are it's avionics / FMS. August 11, 201312 yr Commercial Member Thanks jcomm. Do you know of other twin which have good system simulation. I came from the MilViz C310 and also look for similar level of sophistication. So, let's be clear here. The systems simulation behind the MU-2 is very complex...as complex or close to the complexity of the real aircraft itself. Most of everything in it is driven by the plug-in. There is very little by way of X-Plane default going on here. The MU-2 has consistently received great reviews and awards since 2008 (and recently got overhauled to be even better about a month or two ago). If you like turboprops, switches, etc, then this is easily a plane for you. Founder of X-Aviation
August 11, 201312 yr Personally I think the MU-2 is brilliant, and probably my favorite XPX aircraft. Actually one of my top picks regardless of platform. i9 9900k - 32 gb RAM @ 3200mhz - 2070 RTX 8gb
August 11, 201312 yr Beware that whem I was referring to the sophistication I was mentioning the GPS unit implementation on most GA aircraft in X-Plane. The MU-2 includes complex aircraft systems modeling, through scripts ( using Gizmo-based plugins ) The author also took care to closely represent the specific flight control surfaces used on the MU-2, and in reproducing for instance the pre-stall effects very accurately. August 11, 201312 yr Author Thanks all. I am hadeing over to X-aviation to get it. While I wait for better GPS, as I am sure will come. I will just use VOR to VOR or just preload the GSP with FMS file for now. Vu Pham i7-13700K 5.2 GHz OC, 64 GB RAM, RTX5090, SSD for Sim, SSD for system. MSFS2020, XP-12, DCS
