PS: Just helping a fellow simmer here as he may not have know about Avsim's restriction on the link he posted.

Many thanks for the INFO Alain.

Interesting review. i cannot claim to know what he is on about as I'm not very technical so Ill wait for other comments.

May I ask why?

I just had a look at the Avsim TOS and it only forbids to links to torrents, pirate sites etc. No word about other sim-related sites.

Tom

Whatever, all the airport addons so far I own seem to work just fine with it, those that don't I can certainly fix myself if the problem is just related to autogen popping up in wrong places.

Nothing can bring me back to the desertish look in tropical areas that FSX Default and GEX both have.

Ask the staff why, not me.

Go to the site and read a post at 13/02/2013

I see... Kinda sad story.

Tom

This isn't a review.

It's more talk about the lookup table change, of which the issue he cites doesn't even have anything to do with.

Otherwise though, he seems to really like it from his comments and his other two articles.

He's got some good comparison shots up.

You may have missed the part where a question was asked about why he posted in the Orbx forum asking how to properly uninstall FTX-G  from his machine, his answer is in "reply" under "From GEX to FTXG – screenshots".

PS: Again, just helping a fellow member IN CASE he was missing something.

"I am probably one of the most advanced users in the community when it comes to FSX"

I find his blog sometimes useful  has a few pages and he has made it more concise say than the "Bible" (OMG) but Word Not Allowed, As I recall you have never made ANY content for FS, never broke any new ground and often fought against others that did and a lot of your work is, well to put it politely >plagiarized< from someone else, you make me laugh my long lost brother. But I do appreciate your view so cheers to you.

Alain.

Isn’t Wasn't that Your post that caused the thread at Aerosoft to be locked?

Closing thread now, as the original topic of discussion was FXT Global in conjunction with Paderborn and we seem to have gone a very long way off topic with certain later replies with people airing thier own dirty laundry

Post #19 http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/70414-ftx-global-and-paderborn/#entry514000

Please, Get over it.

Update: They just removed your posts (link)!

And you may of missed the part where he wrote two articles praising it on his same blog and said its much better then anything out there in the comments of the above linked article.

I do see where you basically were begging him to trash the product, bringing up the SDK stuff and posting the same NickN links you like to spam everywhere and even then he comes to the conclusion it's still a good product despite the changes.
