Why was the Concorde left out of FS since FS2002?FS2000 had the Concorde and a few features, but Microsoft left out those features and the Concorde in FS2002.Why couldn't they include it. Too much work to bring it into 2002?

Because one crashed, people died and it was taken out of service. Same reason the Twin Towers were removed. You can use one of the freeware versions.Allcott

My conspiration theory is that Boeing has always want the Concorde removed from flight simulator. And MS do have quite a strong bond with Boeing. 3 Boeings and 0 Airbusses speaks it

The default F2000 Concorde wasn't brilliant, by any stretch of the imagination! The Project Mach 3 Concorde for FS2002 was released in Feb 2003, and they released an FS2004 version a little while back. "The flight dynamics and realism on the default a/c are great"Hmmmm.....while the default craft are OK, I didnt think I have ever flown one for a great length of time, and I certainly would go so far as to say they are "great", give me the PMDG bird any day.I would be more than happy if MS decided to ditch default planes all together, and concentrate on the "world", and leave the planes to the guys like PMDG, and F1 etcDan.

One problem is Micorosft have the business ties to Boeing. You didn't think of that. I want to take advantage of this and pursue an improvement of the a/c. While you and I may pay $$ for a/c (are you the Ariane hater?) I still think it is good to have them.Anyway, not all are going to buy MSFS 2006 and want to have a flight simulator without any aircraft!!!!! They will be mad as ever if they couldn't buy something and use it without having to purchase or download extra stuff.All you are saying is that stuff everyone else I am happy mate.When MS looks at the market they will decide that packaging a/c is going to help sell it. Obviously you are going to buy 1 copy, but the market will decide this.As far as I am concerned if MS dumps their a/c then it is no longer a Flight sim.Same with their train sim. Dump their trains and it not a raiload sim, but a 'world sim with rail tracks'. What a useless piece of garbage you would be buying.The package is what sells it and when I buy a package that is what I expect.You should convert to X-Plane or make your own sim if you don't like the MS a/c.MS should add on their airbus A330 and A340-600 and 300 a/c with a fully functional VC.The Boeing a/c should be upgraded. The concorde was taken out of flight sim due to the complex of the aircraft and that microsoft could do better things such as Ai traffic and atc. Whoever said that thing about the crash is wrong. Lots of 737-400 have crashed, and is still there
