August 23, 201312 yr Hi guys n gals, There was quite a lot of interest over here when I released my replacement Captains Voice Pack for the Aerosoft Airbus A320/A321 (aka. 'Extended'). So I hope it's ok that I let those who were waiting for the reciprocal First Officer (PnF) Voice Pack, know that I have released it this evening ;- http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/files/file/2233-new-first-officer-pnf-voice-pack-airbus-x-extended/  It will also go into the AVSIM Library of course, in a few days and once approved. Thanks.
August 23, 201312 yr Sounds cool. Wish someone would do an American version. Always feel a bit odd shooting an approach into KLAX in an A320 with a European accent.

Always feel a bit odd shooting an approach into KLAX in an A320 with a European accent. ...imagine how us non-Americans feel, with a FSX world full of north american air traffic controllers... A North American Captain's Voice Pack for the 'bus is about half way completed - hope to have it ready within a week. (Oh he's Canadian though, so still not sure he'll be too at home at KLAX!)
August 24, 201312 yr I was a little tough on you in a past post sorry about that Buddy, take care and thanks again. :drinks: Rich Sennett
August 24, 201312 yr Oh your making us an American version also?! Even better for my Jetblue routes! Jerad Burns
August 24, 201312 yr Absolutely. The North American* Voice Pack is going great. The first will be a F/O for the Airbus, but a Captain's Pack will follow, to give a full crew for when flying in North America. *He's Canadian, from Nova Scotia, but he also spent a lot of time in the the US PNW
August 24, 201312 yr Thanks a lot, Dave! (Not going to forget ... what?!?) What happened to AVSIM
August 24, 201312 yr  I wonder if anyone would be interested in me making installers, that make switching between the British English and American English Airbus crews, automated? Would just be a couple of installers; (one for each) that you run to switch over to each of the crews?) I can't do one for the original (aerosoft) crews, as those are copyrighted files, so you'd have to back up the originals..... Or is this overkill, and people are happy to just manually switch over the files ?
August 24, 201312 yr I will probably just stick with the North American voices when they're available. But thats just me, others may like to switch when they're in different countries. Jerad Burns
August 24, 201312 yr Thanks Dave. Great work me 'ol mucker. BTW, it you have Winzip ( sure other zip addons do the same ) you can make the zip file an EXE. So that should make switching relativley easy. Just an idea. Not sure when Aerosoft is going to implement voice pack switching in their AAX Configurator - maybe v1.11 already? Manual copying is a breeze, so no sweat here, Dave. BTW, the F/O's pronunciation is really cool - that guy sounds sooooo relaxed ... What happened to AVSIM

So that should make switching relativley easy. Just an idea. Thanks ma'man! ..... I use a really good freeware EXE creator, called Install Creator but I'm wondering if it's overkill for this, and can cause problems, eg, where people have FSX in non-standard locations etc. This I'll just stick with manual 'drag n drop' installs! Not sure when Aerosoft is going to implement voice pack switching in their AAX Configurator - maybe v1.11 already?
