There was quite a lot of interest over here when I released my replacement Captains Voice Pack for the Aerosoft Airbus A320/A321 (aka. 'Extended').

 

So I hope it's ok that I let those who were waiting for the reciprocal First Officer (PnF) Voice Pack, know that I have released it this evening ;-

Wish someone would do an American version. Always feel a bit odd shooting an approach into KLAX in an A320 with a European accent.

A North American Captain's Voice Pack for the 'bus is about half way completed - hope to have it ready within a week. :smile:

 

(Oh he's Canadian though, so still not sure he'll be too at home at KLAX! :lol:)

Absolutely.   The North American*  Voice Pack is going great.  :smile:    The first will be a F/O for the Airbus, but a Captain's Pack will follow, to give a full crew for when flying in North America.

 

 

 

*He's Canadian, from Nova Scotia, but he also spent a lot of time in the the US PNW :wink:

I wonder if anyone would be interested in me making installers, that make switching between the British English and American English Airbus crews, automated?
 
Would just be a couple of installers; (one for each) that you run to switch over to each of the crews?)
 
I can't do one for the original (aerosoft) crews, as those are copyrighted files, so you'd have to back up the originals.....
 
Or is this overkill, and people are happy to just manually switch over the files ?

I will probably just stick with the North American voices when they're available. But thats just me, others may like to switch when they're in different countries.

Thanks Dave. Great work me 'ol mucker. BTW, it you have Winzip ( sure other zip addons do the same ) you can make the zip file an EXE. So that should make switching relativley easy. Just an idea.

Manual copying is a breeze, so no sweat here, Dave.

 

BTW, the F/O's pronunciation is really cool - that guy sounds sooooo relaxed ...

Thanks ma'man! ..... I use a really good freeware EXE creator, called Install Creator but I'm wondering if it's overkill for this, and can cause problems, eg, where people have FSX in non-standard locations etc.     This I'll just stick with manual 'drag n drop' installs! :smile:
