August 25, 201312 yr A fellow simmer started a thread at the MS FSX Forum entitled: "Strange altitude jumps/falls - looking for ideas what's causing it" I posted that I had experienced the same problem and was not sure as to what caused it, other than the fact that I reset defaults and things seemed to settle down. Two people chimed in with posts which basically just said "Opus" but did not offer any explanation as to why they blame Opus. Do they know something a lot of people don't? (Can't see how that kind of answer to a question is particularly helpful). Anyway, maybe Stephen or Cheryl could fill me in on what settings can cause/cure this problem so that I can customize my settings in the future, without fear or causing problems. Thanks, Rick Hobbs
August 25, 201312 yr Commercial Member Just update to the latest Beta, we experimented in a recent trial adjusting the altitude based on the turbulent airflow and motions, this has now been removed. I am not sure if it found its way into the release version but if you upgrade to the latest beta it will be fine. If anyone is going to use the Beta versions then please sign on to SimForums and follow the latest Announcements and progress there. Considering the person who continually chimed in with posts which just said "Opus" was one of our competitors probably tells you something too. Cheryl
