August 25, 201312 yr I tried to fire up FSX and got the following message: Cannot load files ...dlgdtdtrans.bmp , fldstd.bmp , btnstd.bmp , digalert.bmp , iconinfo.bmp , iconques.bmp , iconexcl.bmp , and iconstop.bmp Has anyone ever heard of this? Task Manager says FSX is running, but only a small gray rectangle is visible. I was working on the Airbus Extended, but doubt this has anything to do with it. Any help is appreciated. Am I headed for the dreaded re-install? Bill W.
August 25, 201312 yr Commercial Member Those files are in your FSX/Uires folder ( or should be). Check to make sure they are there. My stats on that folder are Size: 37.9MB (39,776,723 bytes). 407 files and 8 folders. The folder contains all the graphics and stuff for the user interface which would explain why when you start FSX you are getting a blank box. If the files are missing the user interface is going to be missing. www.antsairplanes.com
