August 30, 201312 yr If i want 100% realism for trees, I'll have to buy a tree - simulator LOL Well, maybe I should give Very dense a try then. I will be buying the A2A C172R soon and I think that one will cost me some fps so... a lower autogen setting won't hurt, I think.
August 30, 201312 yr If you want to improve your autogen handling, use a different descriptions file. They reside in FSX\Autogen and can be enabled and disabled by renaming the original file and naming one of the other files "AutogenDescriptions.spb". I've been running the one with minimum variety for ages. It basically enabled me to fly with autogen set to "extremely dense" and with PER_CELL values of 6000 each.
