PMDG 737 with saitek multipanel and switchpanel

Recommended Posts

I have the PMDG 737 and want to use it with the saitek multipanel and switchpanel.

But a lot of buttons are not working.

I have read that there is this application SPAD you can use to make it work .

I am not sure if i used it correctly, but it did not work.

My question is, is it possible to use the multipanel and swithcpanel completely working with the PMDG 737?

Regards,

Yes, spad will work, but you need to install a program from Pete Dawson called FSUIP (payed version).

Good luck.

Also make sure you mark your SPAD profile as special for PMDG NGX.

You do this by clicking the "Manage profiles" button, and then selecting the profile you associated with your aircraft (SPAD asked you the first time you used it with that airplane), and then choosing the option called "PMDG NGX" under "Select Special Mode" section.

I use the Saitek panels (radio panel, multipanel and switch panel) and all works. The only thing that doesn't work is the display on the multipanel, but as you rotate the knob you can see the efect on the airplane's MCP.

BTW, I didn't need any payware version fo the FSUIP for doing this.

Hope that helps,

I cannot get the Multi Panel to work in FSX PMDG 737.

It doesn't change any of the settings on the PMDG Auto Pilot panel.

I've followed the procedures that you have detailed but no luck!

I've posted in the SPAD Forum the details.

Could you send me a copy of your PMDG737 profile to try?

Don't forget to uninstall the Saitek switchpanel software if you run SPAD, or else they both send commands to FSX and you'll get unpredictable behaviour. Fooled me too.

I've had a try but failed!

WHat do I need to uninstall and how do I do it?

I've uninstalled the Saitek Software in the Add/Remove Programs but do I need to uninstall the drivers as well?

How do I uninstall the drivers.

I'm using Win7.
