Autopilot disengage key command ?

Recommended Posts

Introduction document page 0.00.91

Look in the AUTOFLIGHT category to see what is the current key assignment or change it to whatever suits you.

Or do it in the FMC where you can assign key commands. Actually it says "Z" for the "A/P L" and and "shift+ctrl+z" for "a/p disengage switch".

Yesterday I could get the A/P to disengage with "Z" ( I have it assigned to a button on the yoke) but today I hear a clicking sound but nothing happens. Haven't tried checking why yet!

Thanks for the input here. The Z key did not work as mentioned. I will study the intro doc fuhrter.
