When does this sound come in T777?

I wanted to know on what occasion this sound comes in Boeing 777? One occasion I know is when it says "CABIN READY".

Nope (from what I've seen) the page is there but there is no-one to send us messages.

That sound is simulated, I've heard it several times already. It's accompanied with an EICAS message saying "Cabin Ready" on taxi to the runway for takeoff and approach for landing. It definitely is simulated by PMDG

I hear it for example for Cabin Ready. Don´t know if it appeared after i switched to ON the Crew Alertness Monitor option. Read page 76 of introduction manual.

I Could be wrong, , but certainly i hear it.

All above said is correct.

In this specific occasion (min 1:41 in the video), though, the chime draws pilot attention to a SELCAL (Selective Call) form ATC on HF frequencies.

Where VHF coverage is poor, airliners use HF to communicate with ATC, but HF freq are really noisy and disturbed (you can actually hear it clearly on the video) so there is no requirement to monitor them constantly as you would with VHF.

When ATC needs to talk to you, they call directly your aircraft through SELCAL.

Here, the Cpt is replying to a SELCAL check ATC is performing then, he will switch off the speaker until the next call.
