Thank you for your comments and consideration.Your input and opinions are noted.Best Regards,Jim Rhoads

I don't know about the rest of you but at times I wonder if we spend more time in discussions like this than enjoying our hobby. No matter what developer it is, there seems to be an endless barrage of nit-picking as if a 30.00 add-on needs to be a actual computer based training device. Well Half Life 2 is going to be released at midnight PST so I know what I will be spending the next few days doing away from this place. I really believe I spend more time debating fools (to no one in particualar) than enjoying myself......GEEZBest Wishes,[h4]Randy J. The Flight1 172 is a great-looking aircraft but I was a bit disappointed with the flight dynamics - especially the reaction of the aircraft when attempting co-ordinated turns. I still prefer the flight dynamics from the free RealAir 172SP. I only have about 7-8 hours on real 172s (not the SP) so maybe I am not fully qualified to compare here. Now someone bring out a new version of the Robin DR400 - the aircraft I fly in real-life and I will have a field day:)RegardsAdam

(And actually a couple of other developers)It isn't exactly what you ask, or make us aware of, it is the way that you go about doing it. Regardless of the way you or Dilloll0 paint the picture in public, it isn't quite the way you portray it and it seems as if quite a few key points have been left out. But isn't that the beauty of the internet? Despite how it is painted, we do indeed value our customers opinions and comments, but also value courtesy and reasonable expectations within the constraints of what we can or cannot do, and that isn't based on what you think we can or cannot do. If we can do it and it fits the scope of the project, we will, and have proven that over and over again. Now, personally for myself, this really isn't the place to continue why or why not you may think I am "evil" :-sae (booh!) :-) If you would prefer to exchange your thoughts and comments personally, via e-mail, that would be a step in the right direction.Regards,Jim Rhoads

Please go back and read what he wrote...it said nothing specific about F1 or any other add-on, more his opinion (which I don't necessarily agree with in this case) on light GA add-ons. Randy turned on the sarcasm, and then you jumped on Dillon as a F1 hater, as far as I can see, just for stating a general opinion about GA models. You, not he, brought up his issues with night lighting. As for our disputes...the only pieces of the the discussion not available for literally anyone to read are those which you and F1 deleted. "...the beauty of the internet" indeed. But I have the complete front-to-back history archived, and both the cases I cited started with multiple and cordial tech support requests that went ignored for long periods of time.>Despite how it is painted, we do indeed value our customers>opinions and comments, but also value courtesy and reasonable>expectations within the constraints of what we can or cannot>do, and that isn't based on what you think we can or cannot>do. If we can do it and it fits the scope of the project, we>will, and have proven that over and over again. Reality XP, the gauge developer on the Meridian, wrote 6+ months ago in your forum that they had fixed the standby altimeter problem. It not only can be done...it *has* been done. I think my expectations, first for an accurate instrument, and second for the fix once the problem was identified are/were reasonable. The fix was coded over six months ago, yet we still have nothing...why shouldn't I be frustrated with that? Finally, I don't think you or F1 "are" evil...but there's an evil side there. Instead of making a well-reasoned argument against Dillon's assessment of GA add-ons, you conducted a personal attack on him.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Washington, DC
