Struggling with Linda!

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

this is my first time with Linda, so be easy. I've read the manual

Hmm, not good. I map the keys in Linda via the PMDG 777 profile, but nothing happens

Also get this error:

LUA Error: C:\fsx\modules\linda/system/handlers-hid.lua:83: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value)
LUA Error: cannot open linda-cfg/aircrafts/PMDG 777/config-mcp.lua: No such file or directory

I think I will need some TLC to get this to work

I have the Saitek Hardware

Yoke
2* Throttle Quads
Trim Wheel
Rudder pedals

thanks

Clive

Clive,

1. Delete this flie: C:\fsx\modules\linda/system/handlers-hid.lua

2. Disable VRI MCP combo in LINDA  settings (Setup MCP Combo link from side menu)

3. Restart FSX and check what happens

If still no luck, copy&paste here the whole console output (from black window or direct from fsuipc4.log).

My bad... wrong advice with deleting C:\fsx\modules\linda/system/handlers-hid.lua.

Now you need to restore it back, sorry. And then try again and report back with log.

Ok, everything looks fine now. If 777 module' commands still doesn't work, then try to load default Cessna and assign some actions onto "Default FSX" module.
