MegaSceneryEarth v2.0 and night textures

Recommended Posts

I notice that when flying at night, there are certain tiles or sections of a city that has night lighting and some don't. Anyone else notice this? Although for places with consistent night lighting over a wide area looks really nice. Will there be any updates that will fix this night texture problem? This is the only downside to MSE v2.

There are no night textures with MSE 2.0, so you are seeing default, UTX or some other night textures. In their store page they are promising night textures as a free upgrade later after the day sets for USA are released.

Strange because I have completely deactivated night lighting in UTX for all the regions.

I have noticed the same problem Aaron and have reported it previously in this forum.  It is just certain blocks of tiles that have night lighting.  Others are totally blacked out and not even the default lighting is showing through.  Hopefully this anomaly will be fixed.  For the LAX area, I have placed MegaSceneryX SoCal above the MSEV2 scenery and I have night lighting in the LA area.

Best regards,

Jim
