LINES ON 777 DISPLAYS

[777'all the way 1]

HI i need help with some lines on my displays, do you know what it is or how i can solve it?

Try adjusting the brightness if you haven't already.  I know I could make my NG displays look like this is I made to bight or dim I believe.

had the same problem and turning off "highle detailed 3d cockpit" did it for me

Yes, adjusting the brightness, increasing the aa level, and zooming into 1.0 all fix this issue. I use the zooming into 1.0 method, as it gives me the most realistic outside view and completely eliminates these lines in the NGX (you can move your eyepoint back so that you can still have some peripheral vision and see the vc).

That is a moiré pattern effect. If you look closely at the speed and altitude tapes, you can see a small grid-like pattern that makes up the graphic. I you move the camera further away, this results in a moiré. Better anti-aliasing should make this effect less noticeable. For example I didn't notice it on my system until I looked for it, but it is very obvious with the terrain map on the ND. After resetting my driver to the settings suggested by PMDG, things look much better.

There not really lines but moreso dots or blotches that give the displays what looks like back contrast.

Did you try a zoom factor of 1? That completely eliminates this on the NGX for me, but I don't know if it'll do the same on the 777.

This is exactly right. Any GDI+ gauge in FSX will exhibit this kind of thing at certain AA/AF settings and certain distances.
