Changing FSXAssist Settings Dynamically

Recommended Posts

Since FSXAssist was designed to run as a background process there is no automatic way to view it with or without the 'Close On Load' option selected.

There are 2 things you can do if you want to view FSXAssist after FSX is running:

1) 'Close On Load' option selected - simply run FSXAssist (not FSXAssistRun) again.

2) 'Close On Load' Option unselected.  In this mode FSXAssist is running in the background and no icons are visible by default.  To use a taskbar icon to interact with FSXAssist first pin bot icons to the taskbar and use one to run FSX from there.  Then you can click on the active one after FSX is started if you want to change any parameters and reload FSX.

We plan to add a system tray icon in a future release.
