VC panels frozen mid flight?

This happens in the 747x as well, where occasionally the panels will all freeze, and I'm not sure if its an issue to do with the fact that I save flights and start them up later, or what, but has anyone else experienced this as well?

Switching views over water or uninhabited land seems to trigger that for me. Just cycle through the interior views using "A" until you get back to the VC and it should work again

It's caused by switching to the "Tower" view when there's no actual tower in range for it to switch to. If you use the menus to switch views instead of the view cycle keys/buttons you shouldn't run into this.
