Switching over to UNICOM to announce your arrival intentions to the Leesburg Executive Airport traffic?

haha - yep.

Anyone have an idea of the facility/sector I was talking to prior to the switch?

Yep.  Flight following back into JYO (so I could cut the corner of the JYO Maneuvering Area), talking to ASPER (125.05), getting dumped onto CTAF.

There is some of this functionality in the sim now, look at the baro control you can have the mouse moved away from the knob and still controlling it, think that's what op referring to.

Of course a nice full (better than the sparse NGX sdk) will allow my nice hardware to stop me having to keep messing about with mice!
