Sperry177& ISG Problem

Recommended Posts

Hi every one,

Sorry for this long post.

Not new to this forum but its been a long time. First of all I have searched this forum and the ISG forum almost top to bottom for a solution to this problem but to  no avail, took me a few days. I think I have seen an explanation for this problem but cant remember where and when.

I have the isg panel rework for the Tinmouse(EHSI,EHSI control, default FMS, MFD) installed in my FSX version of the Tinmouse ( love the aircraft). Upon first load and fligth preparation the course select knob on the EHSI control gauge operates properly -course display digits on the sperry 177 moves 1 degree pers click. however after a few minutes or upon some unknown trigger, the course select knob on the isg EHSI control gauge jumps 10 degrees when clicked to select a VOR radial, both on the isg EHSI, and the sperry 177 course display window.

Dont know why it switches digits selection from 1 - 10. I have posted this issue on the isg forum website(09/07/2013) but no response yet, so i thought I'd post something up here, maybe some one might know about it.

If this is not the right way to go about find a solution to my problem, then please accept my apologies.

Thanks for your help

I'm not the person who will answer this correctly, but based on a simular issue I experienced I'm wondering if you have a registered copy of FSUIPC installed?

The Tinmouse II FAQ section says it's now required.  I don't have it, but only experience trouble after doing a turn-around when I leave power and APU running.  If I shut off all power, things go back to normal.

First thanks a lot for your reply, yes I do have a registered version of FSUIPC however I think it for the FS9 simulator. I also do have the Tinmouse II on fs9 havent flown it in some time. Will check and see if it has the same problem.

Thanks a million for the suggestion.

Make sure you have the "fix control acceleration" option selected in FSUIPC.

Thanks for your suggestion Bob, unfortunatley I dont have a registered copy on FSX, only FS9, have to update that. My FS9 Tinmouse doesnt have this problem, have to fly that until I get the FSX FSUIPC registered.

Thansk a lot for your attention.

Sorry Bjoern,Today,I tried to fly with this aircraft and I realize that I totally stumbled. Now the aircraft just only following the first waypoint, after passing it,the aircraft is going same direction. And also ISG arose with a new problem. When you select the FPLN page from GNS,after passing an any waypoint,it has to be showed to you the next waypoint name and the heading course but now (with sperry 177) it's NOT.

What is the current version of the ISG gauges you use?

I noticed on the ISG forum there is a beta version 1.8 .. but not sure if it released / working?

Does the ISG gauges work with TinMouse II or not in its downloaded version from SimMarket?
